About Me

I help professional clients make long-term, sustainable changes in behaviour to achieve personal and professional goals. I draw upon my track record of developing and leading high-performing teams and driving change programmes in large corporations to help bring out the best in my clients.

I work with individuals to enable them to establish a clear sense of direction and to flourish.  My work with organisations involves diverse issues from developing leadership capabilities, defining vision and mission statements, to workshops on building client relationships, resilience, empowerment and career planning.

I also bring a wealth of experience from working for 17 years in the financial services industry, as a solicitor in both Magic Circle and US private practice firms, and in-house at Deutsche Bank and Barclays Investment Bank, where I held the position of Managing Director, Legal Counsel. During this time, I experienced first-hand the challenges of being a senior leader in different sized corporations against a backdrop of change and uncertainty.

I have a particular interest in developing individuals, especially those in emerging and established leadership positions, and have coached, managed and encouraged relationship-building among culturally diverse teams in London, New York, Hong Kong, Johannesburg and across Europe and the Middle East.

I am open and direct, operating with humour and integrity. I have a high energy, enthusiastic and personable style.

Why choose me?

Experienced qualified coach

As an accredited business and executive coach, I see my role as supporting and challenging my clients on their development journey. Coaching sessions are the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect and plan your own development - something that few people, especially busy lawyers, take the time to do.

Practical, first-hand experience

I have direct experience of working in different sized organisations (multi-national and global) and I understand how to navigate the complexities of organisational life first-hand. I also understand the challenges inherent in a a senior leadership role.

Insider knowledge for in-house and private practice lawyers

During my legal career, I was a supplier as well as buyer of legal services, so I understand and both perspectives. I can help in-house lawyers navigate through issues such as: securing budget for internal resources; ethical dilemmas in your role; forming internal networks; or managing external legal resources. As a senior in-house lawyer responsible for procuring external legal resources, I know what in-house lawyers really want from their external lawyers. And I can provide insight on how to pitch to get on that panel.
